Hope for Appalachia and the Harbor House have partnered with The Women’s Health Addiction Program at CAMC in order to provide comprehensive care and support for women who are pregnant and battling addiction. A major challenge for expectant moms who struggle with substance abuse is safe and supportive housing while they pursue treatment. The Harbor House will provide that safe and supportive housing while the Women’s Health Addiction Program will provide all pre/post natal care and addiction treatment and counseling. During their stay at the Harbor House, each lady will experience a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment. We will provide programs to help each resident improve their physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. Our goal is a healthy, drug-free mother and baby living a life that honors God. They will learn practical life and parenting skills, be trained in baby care, further their education, and study God’s word.
